- Artist: Ayaki (彩樹)
- Tenryuu has short purple hair and yellow eyes. She wears a serafuku with a necktie and thighhighs and an eyepatch over her left eye.
- She carries a sword in its scabbard on her right side.
PersonalityEdit
- Seiyuu: Yuka Iguchi (井口裕香)
- Very bellicose, with the catchphrase of "怖いか？" (Heh, you scared?). She is, however, often depicted in a way that subverts this, especially when teased by Tatsuta. She is also depicted as a babysitter to the Akatsuki class.
- Such a depiction is because despite of her brash appearance and manner, her effectiveness as a ship leaves a lot to be desired, commonly making her expedition fodder instead.
- Her mannerisms paired with her eyepatch often lead to her depiction as a chuunibyou character, with humorous results.
TriviaEdit
- Named after Tenryu River in Shizuoka Prefecture; her name literally means "Heavenly Dragon".
- A Training Support Ship, JS Tenryu (ATS-4203) is in service with the modern JMSDF.

- Despite being launched in 1918, she was capable of sinking the USS Quincy with two torpedoes, an impressive feat considering that the New Orleans-class heavy cruisers were at least 16 years newer than herself.
- Sunk by USS Albacore (SS-218) 18 December 1942, off Madang, New Guinea.
- A character from Touken Ranbu (another DMM-hosted game), Shokudaikiri Mitsutada, shares many similarities with her. It is not surprising that they are one of the more notable pairs in TouKan (Touken Ranbu X Kantai Collection) crossovers.
