Game Not Available in Your Region for other DMM games

So today I've noticed that other DMM games are no longer working for me. KanColle still works, thank goodness, but other games like the Strike Witches game now tell me they aren't available in my area. I'm not sure what's going on... has anyone else seen this?

I've been using the Chrome extension that's supposed to make it look like you're in Japan, and so far it's worked flawlessly till today. I use KC3 to play the game, and I get no issues there, but I'm kind of worried now since this happened suddenly and for apparently no reason.

Can't find info online because these other games just aren't popular outside Japan. Anyone have any ideas what might be going on or how to fix it other than using a VPN? Never had to before.

dmm chaging game links from usual http://www.dmm.com/netgame/social/-/gadgets/=/app_id= to http://pc-play.games.dmm.com/ which make those cookie hacks not working

R18 works fine for most ppl, but non R18 will need new hack probably or use of vpn

Ah hah... very interesting. Thanks for the information. Guess I'll poke around with a cookie editor tomorrow and see if anything looks familiar.

Seems like they're changing games one at a time or in batches. KanColle still plays off the old URL format. Hopefully if they change KanColle people knock out a new hack fast.

Sorry if this is somewhat old, but has anyone found a way to adapt the cookie method to those new URLs? Like the op I've been trying to access the DMM Strike Witches game, but my attempts at tinkering the cookies to match the new URL didn't work out so far.

don't think so. most likely new cookies can be expected when kancolle get moved to new format too

for now vpn only option

Alright, thanks for the answer!

By the way, is it safe account-wise to use the cookie method to play Kancolle (for better performances) but to use the VPN method for another game on the same DMM account? For instance, is there a risk that the back and forth use of two different IP adresses could be seen as account sharing (I'm not sure that DMM is allowing this in its TOS), even if it's for separate games?
